Moab and Arches Repelling-Memorial Day Weekend

We spent some time with Mike, Sharleen, their girls and Chris and Kari's family. We had a great time as can be seen by the pictures. Everyone repelled and seemed to enjoy it besides Anastasia! She had a hard time with the repel Drew helped her with. When she finally made it to the bottom, I asked her if she was sure about taking her harness off because if she did, she wouldn't have another chance to go. She told me she was. "It was so scary," she says. I said okay and helped her out of it. Not ten minutes later while watching the other kids coming down she decided she wanted to give it another try. "So sorry," was my reply, "next trip..." We all had a great time and it was nice to spend time with family and friends.

Bryce in his repelling gear. You can see Delicate Arch in the pictures near the top. The weather was beautiful and not too hot. Perfect. Aunt Brenda came and helped with the kids. Here she is in the bottom picture with Bryce. She also repelled and we look forward to her help in the future, in exchange for a little repelling.

Tyler and his various repelling, hiking, climbing pictures. The top right hand corner picture is of him holding one of the double arches up. He's so strong!

Anastasia and her pictures. The picture of her and Masha was taken at the end of the Delicate Arch hike. Her favorite friend on this trip was Lexi. C & K daughter.

JR and his pictures. He's the pro repeller. This is about the third or fourth trip we've taken him on and he loves it.

Looks like a fun weekend. I'm glad you got Picasa figured out. It's really cool. It makes putting lots of pictures on the blog so much easier.
