Edinburgh, Scotland-Anastasia

Another post by Anastasia

Now our trip is in Scotland. I don’t know if this was one of my favorite parts, but there were a lot of clouds and lots of rain. Which now being in Abu Dhabi i kind of miss all the rain.

This was a store that showed us how they make Bag Pipe, but we didn’t get to see any because he went on a break when we got there.

This was the start of our royal mile that just had shops going all the way up to the castle.

Bryce trying to show us how to do a puppet show.

Rylee on the coolest rocking horse I’ve seen.

This was at the children museum that we saw on our royal mile that we decided to see. It had toys that were from a long time ago, toys that our parents would play with.

We saw someone playing the Bag Pipe, don’t worry we gave him some money. Even though Tyler didn’t give him all the coins that my mom gave him instead he kept some and would go to different people playing and give them some.

Us in front of a building that i don’t really know the name for.

I don’t know what this is but you can see my dad in the reflection.

Us in front of the castle after our royal mile

A band that we saw but they were not playing.

Beautiful view from the top of the castle

We saw a cannon go off at the castle and it has everyday at 1:00 p.m. since the 1800’s

Cool view with all the houses there

Us in front of a cannon

There jail beds, they were made out of wood

Us in the castle and i think you can see how cold it is.

Us walking through the part where they kept there prisoners. I would have to say if i ever were to go to jail back then i would want to this one. Because i think it would be one of the best from what i have heard.

Notice the really pretty crown molding

Us eating at this cute little restaurant, one of the workers took the picture for us.

This is Rylee and J.R., Rylee would complain about how her feet would hurt and so we but mostly J.R. would carry her. The problem about this was that Rylee would complain at the worst parts, like going up hills.

The front door of an apartment, off of the Royal Mile.  The apartments were built up above the shops that lined the streets.
Mom’s yummy Scottish lunch!
