We managed to get the tree up with grandma still in town so that she could be a part of the Christmas spirit in our home. We put it up for FHE on Monday then grandma flew home the next morning. We sure love her and will miss her until she comes again. Here are a few pics of getting tree up and lit.

You look so thrilled in that picture lol. Looks like you guys had fun! This year was the first that daddy got to lift Ada to put the topper on and she loved it!
There's nothing like putting the tree up to inspire some christmas spirit. I love to turn the lights on and just enjoy it with some warm wassail and christmas music.
